Slavoj Žižek and John Milbank: The Monstrosity of Christ: Paradox or Dialectic?
Randy Alcorn: Heaven
Perhaps the worst book on theology that I've read, ever. It's more devotional than scholarly so it really does not even count as theology in my book.
Bart D. Ehrman: Jesus, Interrupted: Revealing the Hidden Contradictions in the Bible (And Why We Don't Know About Them)
Very accessible book written by a top New Testament scholar that conveys the basic academic consensus about the New Testament. In other words, fundamentalists will not like it. (*****)
