The October Surprise?

During Presidential elections there's always talk of an October surprise - some piece of news - that undermines a candidate's chances. Andrew Sullivan has details on something that very well could turn out to be the October surprise, for Palin. Palin may be a power abuser too, like Bush. How well would the reformer line work if it came out that Palin abused her executive authority settle personal scores?
