This episode of Futurama helps illustrate a common philosophical view of the relationship between the mind and the body, substance dualism. Professor Farnsworth invents a machine that makes it possible to transplant a mind or self from one body into another body. The minds of Leela and Fry get transplanted into the bodies of Farnesworth and Zoidberg.

So, Fry is Zoidberg and Leela is Farnsworth, but they are still attracted to each other romantically. According to the Futurama view, love or attraction is an immaterial part of a person's mind or consciousness and not influenced by bodily states.
